Build Brand Awareness ~ Create Engaging & Impactful Content

To amplify brand awareness and drive their mission to engage voters and showcase their community efforts, I was brought on as a freelancer specializing in brand management and content creation. My role involved capturing dynamic photography and videography at high-profile events featuring Governor Wes Moore, Lieutenant Governor Aruna Miller, and Congressman Jamie Raskin. Additionally, I engaged with various trustees to create compelling content that resonated with potential voters.

The social content focused heavily on the speeches at these events. It helped drive attention, encourage action, and resonate with our community, fostering new people interested in supporting our mission.

Here’s the value I added.

  • Fostering Collaboration

    Part of my role was to also find ways to engage with our partners and find additional opportunities and ideas to push the mission forward. I captured a holiday trustee event. I was able to continue working with Governor Wes Moore. Additionally, I was thrilled to converse with the Mayor of Bowie, Tim Adams about collaboration opportunities for the organization and how to facilitate a social plan.

  • Capturing Dynamic Moments

    I had the privilege of managing the photography and videography for the Maryland Democratic Holiday Trustee Event. I captured dynamic speeches and moments that not only highlighted their mission but aimed to attract new voters. Through compelling visuals and engaging content, our efforts on social media helped amplify their message and connect with a broader audience.

  • Organizing Partner Events

    I played a pivotal role alongside the Maryland Democratic Party's communications director and executive director, Vincent Harrington, in meticulously planning and executing a venue walkthrough to strategically capture key moments for events. This initiative effectively reintroduced and strengthened the party's connection with voters, highlighting valuable community partnerships and showcasing trusted leadership within our partners and community engagement.
